Welcome to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultural center located at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival. We are committed to providing extraordinary experiences and access to the arts in a variety of spaces, including an open-air Pavilion; indoor Event Gallery; multi-purpose Market Sheds; studios for creative learning programs; the award-winning Museum at Bethel Woods; and a multifaceted campground.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞! The Ticket & Arts Access Initiative at Bethel Woods provides free tickets for individuals, families and young people who face barriers, such as financial need. Scholarships to Bethel Woods programs are also provided to young people ages 4 to 18 who are Ticket Access participants and who show an interest or aptitude for the arts (music, visual arts, dance and more). “I love Bethel Woods for giving back to the school community and making dreams come true for those who are less fortunate. We are saddened to hear about David Sanborn’s passing yesterday. David performed as part of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band at the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fair and we were lucky to see his return to our historic site in 2019 when he performed in the Event Gallery as part of the yearlong 50th Anniversary celebration.
