Community Involvement
Bethel Woods encourages organizations and individuals to become involved as a vital part of our sustainability and future. We offer several opportunities to partner as good community citizens.
volunteer program
Bethel Woods offers rewarding year-round and seasonal volunteer opportunities through our various programs. Volunteers serve in the museum, provide support during concerts, and participate in special community outreach planning and events, including the Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods.
aramark fundraising opportunity
Through Bethel Woods' partnership with ARAMARK, eligible Non-Profit Organizations (NPO's) have the opportunity to raise funds to support their worthy programs by working in our concession stands for a percentage of the sales. This program is open to community groups, student groups, library groups, charity projects and more. Eligible organizations must have a 501c(3) status or can become 501c(3) registered. Learn more about how your organization may be able to join us.
food recovery partnership program
Bethel Woods has partnered with ARAMARK and Rock and Wrap it Up (RWU), a non-profit organization that works to recover food and other assets, obtained without cost, which are given to agencies fighting hunger and poverty. Food which has been prepared but not served is collected from the various onsite concessions, following concerts and events at Bethel Woods. This recovered food will be donated to the Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless who provide about 150 meals per day to the needy in our county.
